Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Crowdseek website, app, and related services (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2) Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal data. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy on a data-processing issue, the Privacy Policy applies.
3) Eligibility (18+)
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm you are 18+.
4) Account registration and security
- You may need an account to use parts of the Service.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity under your account.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
5) What Crowdseek provides
Crowdseek provides tools to help you clarify goals, select outcomes, build routines, and track progress. The Service may include recommendations and prompts to help you reflect and plan.
Crowdseek does not provide medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for your decisions and actions. If you have concerns, seek professional support.
6) Your content
The Service may allow you to submit content such as goals, reflections, progress entries, comments, or messages (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content.
6.1 Your responsibilities
- You confirm you have the rights to submit your User Content.
- You are responsible for your User Content, including its legality, accuracy, and whether it infringes anyone’s rights.
- Do not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate.
7) Licence you grant to Crowdseek
To operate the Service, you grant Crowdseek a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, back up, reproduce, process, and display your User Content only as needed to:
- provide and maintain the Service;
- personalise your experience (for example, recommendations);
- improve the Service (including analytics and debugging);
- maintain safety, security, and integrity; and
- comply with legal obligations.
This licence ends when your User Content is deleted from the Service, except where it has been anonymised/aggregated, must be retained for legal/security reasons, or remains briefly in backups.
8) Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. For example, you must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or other users’ data;
- interfere with the Service (including introducing malware or harmful code);
- scrape, crawl, or harvest data without our permission;
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except to the extent permitted by law;
- use the Service for spam, impersonation, fraud, or scams; or
- use the Service in a way that could harm Crowdseek, other users, or third parties.
9) Intellectual property
All rights in the Service (including software, design, branding, logos, and non-user content) are owned by Crowdseek or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from the Service (except as allowed by law) without our written permission.
10) Paid plans, subscriptions, and billing (if applicable)
If the Service includes paid plans, prices and features will be shown at checkout or in-product. Payments are processed by our payment provider(s) and may be subject to their terms.
- Cancellation: you can cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise.
- Refunds: unless required by law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period begins.
- Trials: if a free trial is offered, we will state the length and what happens when it ends before you start it.
If you are a UK/EEA consumer and you purchase digital content/services, you may be asked to acknowledge that you want immediate access and (where applicable) that you understand your statutory cancellation rights may be affected once performance begins.
11) Availability, beta features, and changes
- We aim for reliable access but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- Some features may be labelled beta/preview and may change or be withdrawn.
- We may update the Service to improve performance, security, and functionality.
12) Third-party services and links
The Service may link to third-party websites or integrate third-party tools. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
13) Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- you breach these Terms;
- we suspect fraud or misuse;
- we must do so for legal or security reasons; or
- we discontinue the Service (in whole or in part).
Where reasonable, we’ll try to provide notice.
14) Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and availability. You acknowledge outcomes depend on your actions and context; we do not promise specific results.
15) Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation).
Subject to the above, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Crowdseek will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data, business interruption, or losses arising from reliance on information or recommendations provided through the Service.
Where we are liable, our total liability for claims related to the Service is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) £100, if you paid nothing.
16) Indemnity
If you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully and that causes us loss or a claim, you agree to indemnify us for reasonable losses and costs (including legal fees), to the extent permitted by law.
17) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
18) Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer protection laws give you rights to bring proceedings elsewhere.
